Betty Jenson Rowley, age 90, of Talmage, passed away March 12, 2022, at the Uintah Basin Senior Villa.
She was born December 1, 1931, in Talmage, Utah to Joseph Calvin and Lorna Christensen Jenson. She married Dean Rowley on April 28, 1951, in Elko, Nevada. They were sealed in 1966 in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Betty was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed attending Relief Society. She was a wonderful homemaker who lived for her family. She enjoyed watching the deer from her front windows and enjoyed many types of arts and crafts.
Betty is survived by her children, Lorraine (Bob) Taylor, Walnut Creek, California, Diane (Alan) Watts, of Salt Lake City, Kyle Rowley, Talmage, Gayle (Vicki) Rowley, Lawton, Oklahoma; Lyle Rowley, Salt Lake City; 14 Grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, siblings Arnold (Loretta) Jenson, Talmage; Roberta Nielsen, Duchesne; Dena Fellows, Salt Lake City; LaVerne (Jeanie) Jenson, Corinne, UT; Leola Jenson, Talmage; Maxine Skinner, Soda Springs; Dallas (Ilene) Jenson, Talmage; Eugene (Mindy) Jenson, Talmage, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Rowley, son, Dale Grant Rowley, grandsons, Franklin Watts and Christopher Rowley Bateman, siblings, Beverly Stevenson, Luella Fielding, Reed, Leslie, Robert, and an infant sister, Jenson.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the numerous individuals at the Uintah Basin Senior Villa who helped take care of Betty for the last three years.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Moon Lake Ward Chapel where a viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m.
Burial will be in the Talmage Cemetery.
