Barbara Ann Jensen, age 91 of South Jordan, Utah, former resident of Duchesne and St. George, Utah.  She passed away May 28, 2022, at an assisted living home in South Jordan surrounded by her family.
    Barbara was born in Springville, Utah on July 11, 1930, to Ephraim Reed and Helen Thorpe Hall.  She married Neill C. Jensen, on March 23, 1951, in the Salt Lake Temple.  Neill passed away on February 27, 2020, just shy of their 69th Wedding Anniversary.
    Barbara graduated from Dixie High School.  After graduation she attended beauty school.  She had an array of jobs.  She worked as a secretary for the Duchesne County School district and for the County of Duchesne.  With her husband Neill, they owned and operated Napa Auto Parts in Duchesne, Altamont and Rigby, ID.  The job Barbara enjoyed most was that of an EMT.  
    She was a volunteer with the Duchesne County Fair, the 4-H program and emceed many Home Coming Contests.  Barbara was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in the Young Women & Relief Society programs.  She also supported her husband in his many church callings.  Barbara was a talented seamstress.  When her three girls were young, she made their dresses as well as lots of barbie doll clothing.  Barbara was a member of the Duchesne Mother's Club for 23 years.  She enjoyed toll painting, crocheting afghan's and took pride in her home which was always immaculate.  
    No matter where she and Neill lived, they always made sure to belong to a "Rook Club" and played monthly with friends.  Friendships were important to Barbara, and she was blessed with some wonderful lifelong friends.  Everyone knows Barbara for her amazing home-made rolls.    
    Barbara is survived by her children, Julie (Mike) Bailey, Monticello; Becky Young, Murrieta, CA; Chris (Bonnie) Jensen, Vernal; Robert (Tracy) Jensen, Herriman; 18 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dean (Carol) Hall.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Neill; a daughter, Shauna Bullock; grandson, Danny Wyasket Young; great-grandson, Saige Bailey; and brothers, Max & James Hall.
    Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022, at 12:00 noon at the Hullinger Mortuary with a viewing from 11-11:45 a.m.
    Burial will be in the Neola Cemetery.
