Andrade "AJ" Santio, Jr

Andrade Kevin “AJ” Sanito, Jr., age 36, of Ft. Duchesne, passed away July 29, 2019, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He was born October 6, 1982, in Alturas, California, to Andrade Kevin Santio, Sr. and Bonnie Barlese.  He was raised by his grandparents, along with his aunt and uncle.
He attended Theodore Roosevelt School in Arizona, Riverside Indian School in Anadarko, Oklahoma, and Ashley Valley in Vernal.  He met his first love, Samantha Cornpeach and together they had a daughter Mariposa, whom he loved and cherished and asked how she was doing when she called home.  He continued his life as a free spirit individual and enjoyed himself to the fullest.  He always told stories about his adventures and the many things that he saw.  
“AJ” is survived by his daughter, Mariposa Santio, Whiterocks; father, Andrade Santio Sr., mother, Bonnie Barlese, Alturas, California; brothers and sisters, Francisco Santio, Draper; Angela Guzman, Los Angeles, California; Sergio Santio, Ft. Duchesne; Charles Lee Santio, Sea Side, California; Chanel Barlese, California; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth & Nataline Santio, Ernie & Edith Barlese, Victor Alfonso Macias, Cimeron Ruiz, Anita Shacker, Tracy Barlese, Richard Barlese.
Graveside services were held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery.
