Alan Cook

On March 31, 2023, Donald Alan Cook, age 74, passed from this life toward Life Eternal in Heaven.

He was born October 15, 1948,  in Worland, Wyoming, the second son of Artie R. And Catherine Cook. The family moved to Rangely, Colorado where Alan attended Rangely Schools and graduated from Rangely High School in 1966.  After graduating he married Mary Ann Cook (no relation).

Alan enrolled in Denver Auto School graduating in 1968. After working for an auto shop and coal mine for years, Alan developed an interest in and passion for building. His legacy as an accomplished builder and Jack-of-all-trades will long be remembered by those he was close to.

He was preceded in death by Mary Ann, his father Artie R. Cook, Jr., his brothers Michael Dale Cook and Martin Lee Cook, and his beloved dog Ebony, patiently waiting to welcome him to his Heavenly home.

He is survived by his mother Kay Cook and brother Rodney Cook (Mimi), his two daughters Kelly Lemmo and Angela McCandless. Seven grandchildren Jessi, Kacie, Ty, Cody, Nicola, Jennifer, and Daniel. With three great-grandchildren Koralynn, Blakely May and Scarlet.

A Catholic Mass is scheduled at St. Helen’s in Roosevelt Saturday June 10th at 9:30 am.,  432 E 200N Roosevelt, Utah.

Followed by a small burial service in Meeker Highland Cemetery in Meeker Colorado at 1pm. 265 County Rd 4, Meeker, Co.
