Aimee Jolynd Wilkerson, age 22, passed away March 5, 2025, from complications due to the COVID-19 shot which caused cancer to return. She first had complications due to the school booster shots she received when she went into kindergarten in 2007.
She was born April 3, 2002, the fourth child of Mikal Wilkerson & Trevor Wilkerson.
Aimee was studying at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. She loved her family, friends, pets and long hair. She often wore hats to cover up her short hair. Sometimes she even wore a wig, although that was short lived. She eventually embraced the short hair and her small stature. Even though she was small she was packed with energy and creativity.
Halloween was her favorite holiday. She loved to dress up, even when it wasn’t Halloween. She is gone for a while, but she will not be forgotten.
Aimee is survived by her husband, Alex Fadness of Helena, MT; mother, Mikal Wilkerson, Helena; father, Trevor Wilkerson, Roosevelt; siblings, Taylor (Sam) Askin, TJ, Bryndon, Jeri & Jaidyn Wilkerson , of Helena & Bozeman, MT.
Funeral services were previously held in Helena Montana after her cremation. A memorial stone will be placed in her honor at the Roosevelt Memorial Park. A small memorial service will be held at the cemetery on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Family, friends, & guests are invited for the service and for a luncheon at the Wilkerson’s family home immediately afterwards.
