Terix Carver Manning, age 30, of Whiterocks, passed away April 25, 2019, at his home.
He was born March 25, 1989, in Roosevelt, to Emery Orrin Manning and June Marie Gardner.
Terix enjoyed deer hunting, drawing, playing video games, riding his 4-wheeler, shooting guns, listening to music, and going to paint ball arenas. He had a passion for knives, swords, throwing axes and collecting figurines, comic books and vinyl records. He also liked to train with his older brother in Boxing. He knew and honored his Native traditional ways. He loved to spoil his nieces and nephews, especially at Christmas time with the latest electronics.
Terix is survived by his parents, Emery Manning, Whiterocks; June Gardner, Denver, Colorado; brothers and sisters, Jerrett Manning, Whiterocks, Andrew Shoyo, Ft. Washakie, Wyoming; Iris Manning, Salt Lake City; Johnae Cesspooch, Ogden; Roticha Herrald, Denver, CO; Shaleen Herrald, Ft. Waskie, WY; Sharren Herrald, Ft. Duchesne; grandparents, Connie Manning, Whiterocks; Gilbert Gardner, Indian Bench; aunts and uncles, Ralphelia & Tiera Manning, both of Salt Lake City; Melvin (Nancy) Redcap, Bobby (Michelle) Redcap, both of Whiterocks; Donna Mae Hammond, Farmcreek; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Clifton Manning, grandmother, Cheryl Gardner; Marainne Gardner, sister, Shayla Manning, and an aunt who raised him, Nelanna Manning.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the Whiterocks Community Building. There will be a wake at Connie Manning's home in Whiterocks on Monday after 4:00 p.m.
Burial will be in the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery.
