Richard Abbott Pargeets, Jr

November 19, 1995 ~ August 29, 2019 (age 23)

    Richard Abbott Pargeets, Jr., age 23, of Ft. Duchesne, passed away August 29, 2019, in the Intermountain Medical Center in Salt Lake City.  
    He was born November 19, 1995, in Roosevelt, to Richard Abbott Pargeets, Sr. and Danyal Mandalen Reed.
    He was known as “Richie” to most and as “Boy” to his momma because he was a “Momma’s Boy.”  He really enjoyed fishing, being in the mountains, and hanging out with family and friends.  He liked to listen to music, sing, and would rap with his family.  He often teased and laughed, and made everyone happy with his ever present smile.  He will be very deeply missed.
    Richard is survived by his companion, Joelena Spencer; children, Veronica Pargeets, Richard Pargeets, III, Goku Pargeets, Suzie Serawop; step-children, Romeo Spencer,  Kolani Taveapont; his parents Richard (Celina) Pargeets, Sr., Danyal Reed (Alfred Cesspooch), Ft. Duchesne; grandmother, Jolyn Pargeets; grandfather, Conrad Reed, Sr., siblings, D’Onna Pargeets, Morgan Penney Pargeets, both of Kansas; Lyv Pargeets, Zoey Pargeets, Mikaela Gardner, & Celeste Gardner, all of Ft. Duchesne.
    He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Adelbert Pargeets, Sr, Athelia Poowegup, Gary Poowegup, Sr., Betty Poowegup; uncles, Elbert Pargeets, Sr., Conrad Reed Jr, Dovon Poowegup, Bradley Poowegup, Leon Cornpeach; aunts, Celeste Poowegup, , and step-father, Michael Gardner; cousins, Tyson Antonio & Lori Antonio, and great grandmother, Edith Upchego.    
    Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at the Whiterocks Community Building.  There will be a wake on Tuesday after 4:00 p.m. at the community building.
    Burial will be in the Red Knoll Cemetery.
