Willie Knight , age 48, of Myton, Utah, passed away July 25, 2008, at his father’s home in Roosevelt, Utah, after a long battle with cancer.
He was born March 5, 1960, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to William Stanford "Stan" Knight, Sr. and Sandra Sanders. He married Terri Lovell, they later divorced. He married Cynthia Sharp, they later divorced.
Willie was employed as a cement worker for many years. He really enjoyed fishing, collecting miniature motorcycles and football helmets, and gambling – always going on the casino boats when he visited Louisiana and Texas. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan. He loved his daughter very much.
He is survived by his daughter, Brandy Knight, Tucson, Arizona; parents, Stan (Esther) Knight, Roosevelt, Utah; Sandra Olasen, Longview, Texas; sister, Michaele (Rick) Brazelton, Carolton, Texas; brother, Chris Olasen, Longview, Texas; half brothers and sisters, Mandee Wilkins, St. George, Utah; Julie Winterton, La Verkin, Utah; Brad (Karlee) Knight, Myton, Utah; Essie (Kenyon) Zager, Neola, Utah; step brothers and sisters, Gwen (Monte) Long, Round Rock, Texas; Frank Nolden, Houston, Texas; Austin (Frankie) Nolden, Myton, Utah; Brandi (Cheney) Campbell, Ioka, Utah; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at the Hullinger Mortuary.
