Tamiric Tabeal Curry, age 20, of Altonah, returned home to his Heavenly Father at his home on September 26, 2017, after a courageous battle with Cystic Fibrosis.
He was born to Doug and Penny Walker Curry on June 12, 1997, in Roosevelt. He attended school in Altamont, graduating from Altamont High School in 2015.
Tamiric was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and he enjoyed his duties as an Elder in the Melchizedek Priesthood. He was a friend to everyone, and everywhere he went he would meet a new one. He had a way with little children and they all loved him. He had a deep love for his niece and nephews.
Tamiric’s true passion was his Dodge pickup truck and the many hours he spent with his friends working on their trucks. He really enjoyed fishing, camping, and being in the mountains. He fought from the beginning and he continued fighting until the end. He will be dearly missed as a son, brother, and uncle.
Tamiric is survived by his parents, Doug and Penny Curry, Altonah; siblings, Amanda (David) Dennis, Roosevelt; Jedadiah (Chelsea) Curry, Altamont; Adriana (Rylee) Goodrich, Altonah; Grandma Curry, and a niece, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Curtis Lloyd & Peggy Walker; and Oran Joe Curry.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Staker, Dr. Wells, and all of the staff from Hospice. Also, a special thanks to Alicia and Coreen for their amazing love and care.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., at the Altamont LDS Stake Center where a viewing will be held on Friday from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m.
