Michael Clark “Tiny” Gardner, age 45, of Ft. Duchesne, passed away February 11, 2018, at the Intermountain Medical Center.
He was born April 13, 1972, in Roosevelt, to Gilbert Judd Gardner and Percelina Copperfield. He married Kitty Wilson and they later divorced. He met and had been together with Danyal Reed.
Michael worked various jobs throughout his life, including Pin Setter at Ute Lanes, Fire Fighter & Tree Cutter for the Ute Tribe Forestry Service, Crew Boss for the Ute Tribe Building Rehab, Flagger for Burdick Paving, and with a dynamite crew for a pipeline company. He really enjoyed drawing and playing the Native Flute, fishing, hunting, being in the mountains, riding his Harley Davidson, and helping his son, Sky, make music. He believed in his traditional Native American ways and was a Sundancer. He loved his children and grandchildren. His great sense of humor will be missed!
Michael is survived by his children, Lanessa (Adrian Silva) Gardner, Roosevelt; Tesha Gardner, Vernal; Lisa Howell, Roosevelt; Sky Gardner, Ft. Duchesne; Lottie Gardner, Ft. Duchesne; Mikaela & Celeste Gardner, both of Ft. Duchesne; 9 grandchildren; parents, Gilbert Gardner, Indian Bench; Percelina Howell, Richardson Subdivision; siblings, Dan (Christine) Howell, Seattle, WA; Gordon Howell, Roosevelt; Henry (Dondie) Howell, Ft. Duchesne; Dalene (Lloyd) Miller, Ft Duchesne; June Gardner, Denver; Vance Gardner, Draper; grandma, Delores Arrowchis; aunts, Carmelita Jack, Maxine LaRose, Patricia Shoyo, Argo Shoyo, Marita Shoyo; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the John Harmes - Whiterocks Cemetery. There will be a wake at Percelina Howell’s home in the Richardson Subdivision after 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
