Christene Edith Macklin, age 43, of Arvada, Colorado, formerly of Altamont, passed away June 21, 2017.
She was born June 21, 1974, in Hollbrook, Arizona, to Frederick Amtoft and Dianna Lyn Addley Spalding.  She married Patrick Egan Macklin, on April 21, 2004, in Golden, Colorado.  They later divorced.
Christene earned her Registered Nursing degree at Weber State University in Ogden.  She worked as a NICU Nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Aurora Medical Center in Denver, jobs that she enjoyed and took great pride in – she loved caring for the babies.  She was a talented sketch artist and spent her free-time crocheting, sewing, fishing, and doing anything in the outdoors.  She loved animals and was a good cook.
She was a good mother and her children were her number one priority.  She had a deep love of the Savior and trusted in her Heavenly Father.
Christene is survived by her children, Shaydon Spalding, Altamont; Sarah, Jordan, & David Macklin, all of Arvada; mother, Dianna Spalding, Altamont; sister, Wynnde (Brent) Whittier, Lewiston, UT; Forrest (Liz) Spalding, West Jordan, UT; half brothers and sisters, Sheri Lillard, Debby Delaney, Kelly Kappelman, and Milton Delaney.
She was preceded in death by her father, Fred; and grandparents, Darr & Ruth Pulley Addley, and Thomas & Edith Amtoft Spalding.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the Strawberry Cemetery.  There will be a viewing that morning from 9:30 - 10:30 at the Hullinger Mortuary.
